Data Deletion Instructions

1. What Data We May Hold

Depending on how you have interacted with us, we may hold:

• Contact information you submitted via our website forms (name, email, phone, business details)
• Records of email or messaging conversations with us
• Notes captured during discovery calls, proposals, or ongoing client work
• Profile information and access tokens we received after you authorized our Facebook or Instagram integration on your account (applies only if you granted Auto Mate AI access to your Meta accounts)
• Page, post, comment, message, or insights data we retrieved on your behalf from platforms you connected to us (e.g., Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, Google Business Profile)

2. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data, email us at kaden@auto-mate.business with:

• Subject line: “Data Deletion Request”
• The email address associated with your account or inquiry
• If applicable, the name of the Facebook Page, Instagram account, or other platform account connected to Auto Mate AI
• Any specific data you want deleted, or a request for complete deletion of all data we hold about you

3. What Happens Next

• We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
• We will complete deletion within 30 days of your request.
• If we connected to your Meta accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), we will revoke our access tokens and delete any cached profile, post, comment, message, or insights data retrieved on your behalf.
• We will confirm in writing once deletion is complete.

4. Data We May Be Required to Retain

We may retain certain records (such as invoices, signed agreements, or tax documents) where required by law, accounting standards, or legitimate business obligations. We will inform you if any data falls under this category and explain why.

5. Revoking Platform Access Directly

You can also revoke Auto Mate AI’s access to your platform accounts at any time, independent of emailing us:

• Facebook & Instagram: Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → remove Auto Mate AI
• Google (Business Profile, Ads, YouTube): Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → remove Auto Mate AI
• LinkedIn: LinkedIn Settings → Data Privacy → Permitted services → remove Auto Mate AI

Revoking access on the platform will stop any future data retrieval but does not automatically delete data we already hold. To delete data we already hold, please also email us using the process above.

6. Data Originally Collected by Meta or Other Platforms

Data that Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, or other platforms originally collected from you through your use of their services is governed by their own privacy policies and data deletion tools. To delete data held by those platforms themselves, please use the account and privacy controls provided inside each platform.
